I am gaining more and more information and learning more about Wiki's and social networking. I was pleased to find that I too have ideas to add to the discussion. I am new to all of this technology integration, but I think that it is something that definitely needs to be done. My biggest fear of blogging I guess is to be judged. If I put myself out there for the community and the world to see am I opening myself up for ridicule? Yet, I know that if I expect my students to do this than I should set the example.
I use Think.com with my students to set up blogs. I have them write responses to prompts that I post and also reflect on their learning. I am quite pleased with the responses that I get from my students. Here are a few examples of what they have posted as project reflections.
Reflections examples from Internet safety projects:
Reflection
I think that the internet safety project taught me alot. It taught me how to use movie maker and I also learned alot about cyber bullying and other things I didn't know before. I learned that it's easier working with someone because two heads are better than one. Nicole A.
Reflection
By creating my internet safety project, I learned how to make a better movie in Windows Movie Maker. It was fun working with my partener. By having a partner, it helped me listen to other peoples suggestions. I really enjoyed creating my Internet Safety Movie.

Reflection ( Mystery Story Project)
What did you like about the mystery story project? What did you dislike about the project? What do you think that you learned in completing this project? What can be done in the future to make this project better?
My favorite part about making the digital mystery story was getting to record my own voice. While doing this project there were also dislikes. One dislike was having to make the storys on what someone else wrote. It was hard to follow their thoughts sometimes. Also working in groups was hard because you had to compromise other peoples thoughts even when you thought your idea was better. When doing this project I got a better idea of how to use movie maker. I think that in the future we should write our own story. Or have someone write the story ,someone finding pictures, someone organizing the pics and sounds. Gwen M.
